Which machine do you use? Is it worth it?
In our office we use probably the top PICO laser. It's the PICO PLUS of the pioneering company Lutronic
-It is the only PICO with Pulse time of 450ps by independed laboratory certification.
-It is the only picolaser which gives in each hit maximum power constant at 800 mJ (1.8 GW peak power)
-Special heads for removing any color
-half sessions, compared to Q switched conventional laser machines, are needed to completely remove each tattoo
-It has no side effects.
-It doesnt leaves scars and shadows.
- Acts selectively and accurately on target.
- It is approved by the American FDA.
How many sessions are needed?
From 4 to 8 !!! The number depends on the amount of tattoos that are tattooed (quantity of ink per spot) and the amount professionally tattooed. The more accurately it is created the tattoo (evenly placed ink at the same depth) the faster the total removal.
Are all colors removed?
Yes all colors are removed! There is a special head for all types of colors.
What is the mechanism of action and why is it so effective?
ΤPICO PLUS works even on the smallest pigment particle. The light beam selectively targets the pigment particles by penetrating the skin. The PICO PLUS LASER light beam produces acoustic waves that crush the targeted pigment body into very fine powder. To be able to imagine it as an image, acoustic waves are the non-visual eye waves that travel after an atomic bomb has fallen and shattered homes. The same is true of tattoos where the ink particles is fragmented into very small particles. The body activates and removes the pigment particles.
What image should the tattoo have after a successful application?
In the first sessions there is the Frosting Effect phenomenon, where we see the tattoo become white and may show a slight swelling. This is a sign of the success of the application. The frosting effect is temporary and some days it recedes.
What should I consider when choosing the medical office I trust for this medical specialist service?
Tattoo removal is a process that requires:
Very sophisticated equipment
Monitoring by a specialist
Highly trained staff
In our office always have the responsibility for the attendance of conferences and the protocols of Dr. Achilles Chantes. You trust this process to specialist doctors and not former singers or tattoo artists. This is a skin-invasive procedure that if done correctly will make you absolutely happy with the result and experience a safe cycle of healing. In the other case, the experimentations may leave marks or in the case of a complication, then you will be asked to seek specialist to solve it.
